Kirks Bridge Road, located in Little River, Victoria, is defined by its namesake crossing over the Little River. This route is known for its role as a filming location for the nineteen seventy-nine motion picture, Mad Max. During production, the bridge became the site for a stunt sequence where a motorcycle was filmed wiping out on the span. For the scene, the production crew removed the railings from one side of the bridge, which can be seen piled on the embankment in the finished film.
