The Aviation Heritage Museum in Bull Creek is marked by large industrial hangars that house an extensive collection of retired military and civilian aircraft. Established in nineteen seventy-nine by the Royal Australian Air Force Association, the site grew from a small group of enthusiasts collecting and restoring planes. It currently serves as the home for significant machines like the Avro Lancaster bomber, which was acquired from the French Navy in nineteen sixty-two and eventually towed along Leach Highway to reach its permanent display space.
