Eichelhofweg is a pathway that winds directly through the vineyards of the Nussberg, a hill rising above the nineteenth district of Vienna. You can identify the path by the rows of grapevines that border it on both sides, leading toward open views of the Danube river and the city skyline. The name of the path and the nearby Eichelhof street derive from a historic estate called the Eichelhof, which once stood on this hillside and took its own name from the oak trees that populated the area in earlier centuries.
