Sunnyside Park

Sunnyside Park stretches along the Lake Ontario waterfront as a narrow, three-kilometer strip defined by its proximity to the water and the elevated roar of the Gardiner Expressway. This parkland owes its existence to a massive reclamation project begun in the nineteen tens, which pushed the shoreline outward by ninety meters to create new beaches and breakwaters.
