Church and monastery of St. Dominic

religious

The Church and Monastery of Saint Dominic occupies a quiet corner of the Trogir peninsula. Its architecture features a simple, single-nave structure and an austere facade marked by a pointed Romanesque arch. Founded in twelve sixty-five, this complex functioned as a center for the Dominican order, which prioritized education and public preaching. The current form of the church and its surrounding cloister reflects design choices made during the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries.
