The Perun-Kamenolom is a vast, abandoned limestone quarry carved into the side of the Perun hill above the village of Žrnovnica. Its most striking feature is the dramatic, sheer wall of orange-tinted rock that rises sharply above the scrub and olive groves of the hillside, creating a massive, natural amphitheater in the earth.
