The Calanque de Callelongue marks the end of the coastal road in Marseille, where the rugged limestone of the Marseilleveyre massif abruptly halts further travel. Often called the end of the world by locals, this narrow, rocky inlet is defined by its small port and traditional fishing huts. These structures, known as cabanons, are tucked into the cliffside, with small wooden boats frequently hauled onto the rocks to protect them from the Mediterranean waves.
