The LKA Longhorn in the Wangen district of Stuttgart is a music venue recognizable by its industrial-style presence along the Heiligenwiesen. Founded in March nineteen eighty-four by Thomas Filimonov, it originally opened as the Longhorn Country and Western Saloon. At that time, it functioned specifically to serve the American military personnel stationed in the city, and it earned a reputation as one of the largest venues of its kind outside the United States.
