BMW Welt is distinguished by its vast, cloud-shaped steel roof that appears to float above the ground, supported by only eleven columns. Designed by the Vienna-based architecture firm Coop Himmelb(l)au, this futuristic structure in Munich serves as a combined exhibition center, event venue, and delivery hub for new vehicles. Its most recognizable feature is the hyperbolic double cone, a swirling glass-and-steel form that anchors the complex near the company’s historic headquarters and factory.
