Villa Allatini is distinguished by its extensive use of brick on its facades and its grand, three-story baroque design. Built in eighteen ninety-eight by the Italian architect Vitaliano Poselli, this mansion served as the country residence for the wealthy Allatini family. At the time of its construction, the building stood as the most luxurious home in the area then known as the district of the towers.
