Kali Bari Temple

The New Delhi Kali Bari Temple on Mandir Marg is a focal point for the city’s Bengali community, established to serve the expatriate population that settled in the capital during the early twentieth century. The site took its current form in the nineteen thirties after moving from an earlier location on Baird Road. Its committee was formalized in nineteen thirty-five with Subhas Chandra Bose serving as its first president.
