The project rising at the Indu Mills compound in Dadar is a massive memorial dedicated to Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. Often referred to as the Statue of Equality, the structure is designed to reach a total height of four hundred and fifty feet, including its pedestal. This site is situated on land formerly owned by the National Textile Corporation and is being developed to commemorate Ambedkar’s life and his enduring struggle for social justice in India.
