Sadar Bazaar serves as the central commercial hub of the Agra Cantonment, a district established by the British in eighteen oh five. The market area is defined by a grid of tree-lined roads and low colonial-era bungalows that stretch out from the Agra Cantt railway station. Unlike the dense, winding corridors of the older city, this neighborhood was laid out to provide an orderly supply point for the military settlement and local residents.
