Rory Gallagher Corner is marked by a bronze replica of a guitar mounted high on the brick wall of the National Photographic Archive at the northwest corner of Meeting House Square. Unveiled in June two thousand six, this tribute honors the Irish blues-rock musician Rory Gallagher, who rose to fame as the founder of the band Taste before pursuing a solo career until his death in nineteen ninety-five.
