Palazzo Lamba Doria

Palazzo Lamba Doria sits within the medieval heart of Genoa at Piazza San Matteo, identifiable by its connection to the distinctive tower-houses of the Doria family that feature bands of black and white marble. The Republic of Genoa granted this residence to the naval commander Lamba Doria as a reward for his victory over the Venetians at the Battle of Curzola in twelve ninety-eight.
