Rione Parco Verde

The Rione Parco Verde is a residential complex in Caivano, identifiable by its dense rows of multi-story, prefabricated concrete buildings separated by narrow, paved courtyards. Built in the early nineteen eighties, the neighborhood emerged as an emergency housing project following the Irpinia earthquake. While the original plan intended to provide temporary relocation for those displaced by the disaster, the structures were never replaced, and the site became a permanent, high-density residential area.
