Fudo-in is a Shingon Buddhist temple defined by its main hall, the Kondo, which holds the distinction of being the only National Treasure in the entire city of Hiroshima. This structure is the largest surviving example of Kara-yo, or Chinese-style architecture, in Japan. Constructed in fifteen forty, it features massive wooden beams and a ceiling adorned with paintings of celestial angels and dragons.
