The Mausoleum of Emperor Keikō is a massive, keyhole-shaped burial mound that stretches three hundred meters across the landscape. Known locally as the Shibutani Mukaiyama Tumulus, this hill rises above the surrounding rice paddies and stands as one of the largest burial mounds in Japan from the fourth century.
