The Emir Mansour Assaf Mosque features a distinctive roof topped by five cupolas. Located on Weygand Street in downtown Beirut, the structure is built on the site of the former Byzantine Church of the Holy Savior. Emir Mansour Assaf founded the mosque between fifteen seventy-two and fifteen eighty. Its entrance displays a traditional Lebanese style known as ablaq, which uses alternating colors of stone.
