The Los Arcos de Mismaloya are a group of five granite islands protruding from the sea south of Puerto Vallarta. These rock formations, which include notable features like the Devil's Jaw and various natural tunnels, were once connected to the mainland mountains until centuries of wave erosion separated them from the coast.
