Yamil Lu'um is a small archaeological site featuring the remains of two Maya temples, the Templo del Alacrán and the Templo de la Huella. You can distinguish the site by its location on a rocky knoll that stands as the highest natural point along this stretch of the Cancún coastline. Built between the thirteenth and mid-sixteenth centuries, these structures are tucked between modern beach resorts, offering a view of the Caribbean that has served as a vantage point for hundreds of years.
