Musicon

Musicon stands on Soestdijksekade as a long-standing hub for the city’s music scene. This center was founded in the nineteen nineties by Cesar Zuiderwijk, the drummer for the band Golden Earring, alongside Alejandro Milberg, an Argentine documentary filmmaker and dissident who had come to the Netherlands as a refugee. The project began as a response to a local need for accessible rehearsal spaces and a dedicated venue for pop music education and performance.
