Skyline Rotorua is defined by the cable-driven gondola system that rises from the base at Fairy Springs Road to the summit of Mount Ngongotahā. This attraction has operated at the mountain since March of nineteen eighty-five, when it first opened to the public following the purchase of the site’s farmland by Hylton Hensman in nineteen eighty-one.
