Daiyuexuan

Daiyuexuan is a long-standing shop on Liulichang Culture Street that specializes in the production and sale of traditional Chinese ink brushes. Founded in nineteen sixteen by a brush maker from Zhejiang Province named Dai Bin, who went by the pen name Yue Xuan, the business brought specialized craftsmanship from Huzhou to the capital. The shop maintains a traditional front-shop and back-workshop layout where master craftsmen continue to produce brushes using methods that have been passed down for generations.
