Reed Flute Cave

landmark

The Reed Flute Cave is a vast limestone cavern defined by its towering stalactites, stalagmites, and stone pillars that are illuminated by colorful lighting. Its name comes from the tall reeds growing outside the entrance, which locals traditionally harvested to craft musical instruments. While formed over millions of years by the slow erosion of underground rivers, the cave has served as a documented destination for travelers since the Tang Dynasty.
