Daxuzhen

Daxu Ancient Town is defined by a two-and-a-half-kilometer-long street paved with over fifteen thousand blue flagstone slabs, polished smooth by centuries of foot traffic and horse carts. Located on the east bank of the Li River in Lingchuan County, the name Daxu literally translates to big market. During the Northern Song Dynasty, this location emerged as a primary trade hub for goods moving between central and southern China.
