Yangdi Scene

viewpoint

Yangdi Village is defined by the twin peaks rising behind it, which resemble two sheep hoofs hanging upside down. This likeness gives the village its name, as Yangdi shares a phonetic harmony with the Chinese expression for sheep hoofs. Situated on the west bank of the Li River, the village sits about fifty kilometers from the city of Guilin and forty kilometers north of Yangshuo County.
