The Zhongxia Hotel, often known to travelers as Tina’s Guesthouse, is a fixture of the Tiger Leaping Gorge hiking route. It sits in the central section of the gorge, a deep canyon carved by the Jinsha River where the Haba and Jade Dragon Snow Mountains rise sharply on either side. Backpackers frequently stop here to rest before or after navigating the challenging trails that cut through this high-altitude landscape.
