Blue Moon Valley is defined by its vibrant, turquoise-colored pools that wind through a valley at the eastern foot of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. These pools, fed by mineral-rich glacier meltwater, form a striking contrast against the pale limestone riverbed and the jagged, snow-dusted peaks rising in the background. The area consists of four primary interconnected lakes—Yuye Lake, Jingtan Lake, Blue Moon Lake, and Tingtao Lake—linked by cascading waterfalls and white limestone terraces.
