Warmi Wañusqa, or Dead Woman's Pass, is the highest point on the classic four-day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Reaching an elevation of four thousand two hundred fifteen meters, this mountain pass is defined by the striking silhouette of the surrounding Andean peaks, which appear to form the profile of a woman lying on her back, staring toward the sky.
