Chapman's Peak Drive is defined by its one hundred and fourteen curves, winding for nine kilometers along the near-vertical cliff face between Hout Bay and Noordhoek. This coastal route skirts the western flank of the mountain for which it is named, a height of five hundred and ninety-three meters that serves as a southerly extension of the Constantia Berg range.
