Table Mountain Aerial Cableway

The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway is defined by the two large, circular cable cars that slowly rotate as they ascend the sheer face of the mountain. These cars travel along a double-cable system, rising seven hundred and sixty-five meters to the plateau above. The cableway was officially opened on October fourth, nineteen twenty-nine, by the mayor of Cape Town, A.J.S. Lewis.
