Monte do Gozo, or the Mount of Joy, is a three-hundred-eighty-meter hill located about five kilometers from the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. It is marked by a bronze monument created by sculptor José María Acuña in nineteen ninety-two, which depicts two pilgrims gazing toward the distant cathedral spires.
