Carrer d'En Cristòfor Colom

Carrer d'En Cristòfol Colom is a street lined with traditional fishermen’s houses, many of them painted in bright colors. These dwellings often feature small doors and windows and are found throughout the historic old fishing quarter of Portocolom. The street takes its name from a local legend claiming that the explorer Christopher Columbus was born in this area, known in Catalan as Cristòfol Colom.
