Telefónica Building (Barcelona Telephone Exchange)

The Edifici Telefònica sits at the corner of the Plaça de Catalunya, distinguished by its stone facade and the tall, lantern-crowned tower that rises above the surrounding historic center. Built between nineteen twenty-six and nineteen twenty-eight by architect Francesc de Paula Nebot i Torrens, it stands as one of the earliest high-rise buildings in the city.
