The Antiguo Rock-Ola occupied the premises at number three Padre Xifré Street, directly facing the distinctive Torres Blancas building. Between nineteen eighty-one and nineteen eighty-five, this venue functioned as an essential hub for the Movida Madrileña, the cultural movement that redefined Spanish music and art after the transition to democracy. It operated as both a nightly club and a premier concert space where fans could see international acts like Iggy Pop, Depeche Mode, and Nick Cave at close range, often standing less than a meter from the stage.
