The Residencia Marymar sits directly on the sand of Santa Ana beach, a sprawling structure that once operated as a popular hotel in the nineteen sixties. It later served as a residential nursing home owned by the Unicaja Foundation, housing one hundred and fifty people before closing its doors in twenty eleven.
