Gornergrat

The Gornergrat is a jagged, rocky ridge that stands between the Gorner and Findel glaciers, rising to an elevation of three thousand, one hundred and thirty-five meters. It is a high alpine vantage point reached by the Gornergrat Railway, an electric cogwheel line that climbs one thousand, four hundred and sixty-nine meters from Zermatt.
