Klein Matterhorn

The Klein Matterhorn, or Little Matterhorn, rises to an altitude of three thousand eight hundred and eighty-three meters in the Pennine Alps. It marks the highest point in Europe reachable by an aerial tramway or gondola lift. Visitors reach the summit station after a forty-five-minute journey from Zermatt, gaining access to a viewing platform that looks out over mountain peaks and glaciers across Switzerland, France, and Italy.
