The Täufergedenkplatte is a black basalt memorial plate fixed to the riverside wall in the Schipfe district along the Limmat River. Dedicated in two thousand four, it marks the site where the city government executed members of the Anabaptist movement during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
