The Rock Restaurant Zanzibar

The Rock Restaurant sits atop a solitary coral outcrop just off the shore of Michamvi Pingwe beach. It is defined by its dramatic position in the Indian Ocean, where the tides dictate how you arrive. At low tide, the water pulls back to reveal a path of sand you can walk across, but at high tide, the restaurant is surrounded by water, requiring a short boat ride to reach the wooden staircase at its entrance.
