Doi Inthanon National Park is crowned by the highest peak in Thailand, rising two thousand five hundred sixty-five meters above sea level. You can recognize this landscape by its mist-covered cloud forests, cascading waterfalls like Wachirathan and Mae Klang, and the twin royal pagodas that overlook the mountain’s expansive slopes. Established in nineteen seventy-two, this protected area spans four hundred eighty-two square kilometers and serves as the final, southern reach of the Himalayan mountain range.
