Clifton Heritage National Park spans two hundred and eight acres on the southwestern tip of New Providence, recognizable by its mix of native coppice woodlands, coastal wetlands, and the exposed ruins of an eighteenth-century plantation. Established in two thousand four, this land contains archaeological evidence of human habitation dating back to eleven hundred AD, starting with the indigenous Lucayans who lived here long before the arrival of European settlers.
