The World Trade Center Abu Dhabi is a massive mixed-use complex defined by the Burj Mohammed bin Rashid, a residential skyscraper that rises three hundred eighty-two meters into the air. Completed in two thousand fourteen, the project occupies a twelve-acre site that served as the city’s original Central Market. For over thirty years, that earlier market functioned as the primary trading hub for the capital, hosting nearly one thousand merchants when the city began its rapid economic expansion in the nineteen seventies.
