Halewood Park Triangle

park garden

Halewood Park Triangle is a wedge of mature woodland, ponds, and meadows defined by its shape. It sits on a triangular piece of land left behind by the convergence of three nineteenth-century railway lines. The base of this wedge marks the route of the main Liverpool to Manchester line, which remains active, while the eastern and western boundaries follow the paths of former branch lines that once carried freight and passengers north toward Aintree and Southport.
