Abbey Road Studios

The building at number three Abbey Road is a nine-bedroom Georgian townhouse, distinguishable by its white exterior and grey window frames. While it began life as a private residence built around eighteen thirty, it was purchased in nineteen twenty-nine by the Gramophone Company. Two years later, they completed the world’s first purpose-built recording studios in the large garden at the rear.
