The Woolpack in Esholt is recognized by its stone exterior, which served as the outdoor setting for the fictional pub in the television drama Emmerdale for over twenty years. Originally known as the Commercial Inn, the building underwent a name change during the period between nineteen seventy-six and nineteen ninety-seven, when the village was the primary location for the show's exterior filming.
