Sutton Park

Sutton Park is a handsome, red-brick Georgian country house situated on the edge of the village of Sutton-on-the-Forest. Built in seventeen thirty to replace an earlier Elizabethan property, the house displays the symmetry and elegant proportions of the early eighteenth century. A Grade I listed building, it is distinguished by its Rococo plasterwork in the entrance hall and library, attributed to the craftsman Cortese.
