The Cambuslang Bridge is a steel lattice structure spanning the River Clyde that features a distinct, weathered industrial design. Built in eighteen ninety-two by the firm Crouch and Hogg, it served for decades as a vital road link between Cambuslang and the East End of Glasgow. The bridge eventually gained a reputation for its flimsiness under the pressure of modern traffic, leading to its closure to vehicles in the late twentieth century.
