The Android lawn statues are a series of colorful, large-scale sculptures representing the various versions of the Android operating system. Originally, these figures were commissioned to stand on the lawn in front of Building Forty-Four, the former home of the Android development team. Each sculpture served as a physical mascot for a specific software release, taking inspiration from the dessert-themed code names the company assigned to its development builds, such as Cupcake, Donut, Gingerbread, and KitKat.
